Delivery - what methods do you offer?

We offer free local delivery to addresses within Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, usually within 7 days.

We use Royal Mail First Class Post to all other locations, which will be charged for at checkout.

​

You will be informed of any possible delays to dispatch as soon as your order is processed.

 

Please ensure that you select the appropriate delivery method on the Checkout page. Postage must be paid for addresses outside Wheathampstead.

Delivery - how quickly will my order arrive?

If the items you have ordered are in stock, we aim to get them into the post/delivered locally within 48 hours of the order being processed. However, this is not always possible. If there is likely to be a delay, you will be informed via email, unless the item is clearly marked as a pre-order. as those are already flagged as having a possible delay. We always hope to dispatch all items within 14 days.

If you are ordering a print size that needs to be done as a special order, that will take longer. We will let you know timings as soon as we know them.

We have all greetings cards on the website in stock. We also hold a small amount of stock of coasters, cushions and mugs and of the prints and frames in the sizes displayed.

If you would like to get hold of cards/prints/coasters/mugs urgently and are within the AL4/AL5 area, please contact me, as I may be able to deliver to you on the day of your order.

Do your cards have messages printed inside them?

No, all our cards have been deliberately left blank inside, so that you can write in your own message.

Sustainability

We believe that it is important to ensure that our business has as little impact as possible on the environment around us. All cards and prints sold online are sold naked. We currently use clear packaging for our cards and prints at events, in order to protect them from sticky fingers etc, but all new clear packaging is biodegradable. 

 

All bubble wrap for packing is reused - we do not buy any new. Items are packed in cardboard envelopes/boxes using paper tape to seal them.

Our new business cards are printed on kraft card.

Our cards are printed by a UK company that uses FSC certified card and paper.

​

Our cushions come from a UK company that prints items for the general public or for small businesses. They plant 3 trees for every order we put in to them and use FSC certified paper and timber for their items. 

​

Our coasters, mugs, and other gift items are printed by a small local business in the UK, Del's Laser Workshop. They also produce most of our display stands that we use on our stall - coaster and mug stands, display stands for the keyrings etc.

Where do you get your images from?

We only use our own images for our products - every photograph has been taken by one of us - Judith and Gemma - apart from a few taken by Bob - husband to Judith and dad to Gemma.
